Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Maternal and Fetal Medicine team. You will prep patients, obtain vitals, assist with procedures and administer medications under orders.

You will support care coordination, maintain sterile technique, and help educate patients while documenting care in the EMR. This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly position with sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop rapport with patients, staff and physicians.
• Proficient computer skills and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam and records vital signs.
• Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic technique.
• Assists with procedures and surgeries under supervision.
• Administers medications under physician orders and manages IV therapy as allowed.
• Provides patient education and coordinates tests and referrals.
