Job summary

Penn Medicine's Laborist Practice at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Laborist to join a six-physician team and deliver full-scope care on L&D, ED consults, OB triage, and the Antepartum unit. The role supports teaching within the OB/GYN Residency program and requires board status with licensure.

Shifts are 3x12 hours weekly, with collaborative coverage including two attending OB/GYNs and a CNM on L&D.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician.
• Current state license and DEA license.
• Ability to teach and supervise residents and medical students.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope OB/GYN laborist care on Labor & Delivery, ED consults, OB triage and Antepartum unit.
• Maintain a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts per week.
• Teach and supervise interns, residents, and Penn medical students within the residency program.
