Universal Health Services in Murrieta, California, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor/Delivery and Nursery. The role requires a California RN license and at least one year of related experience, with obstetric certifications such as NRP, ACLS, and BLS preferred.

Preceptorships apply for those with less than one year of experience. The successful candidate will work within a large, nationwide network, providing high-quality patient care, supporting families, and advancing in a robust nursing

Formación

• California RN license.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring: Successful completion of course every two years.
• AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring class within New to Specialty training program.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring class within 9 months of hire into a New to Specialty training program.
• NRP Successful completion of course of the AAP and AHA.
• ACLS required.
• BLS required.
• One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery and Nursery.
• One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Post Partum, preferred.
• RN’s with less than one-year experience must complete a 12-16 week preceptorship program.

Responsabilidades

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care to patients and their families.
• Monitor fetal status and administer obstetric care per protocol.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatology, and nursing staff to ensure safe delivery.
• Participate in newborn care and postnatal assessments as needed.
• Support the unit in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
