Qualifications

• Understanding of OB/GYN coding and insurance policies.
• Ability to interpret explanation of benefits and policies.
• Experience in a medical office environment with OB/GYN focus.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
• Obtain authorizations and referrals; confirm benefits prior to visits.
• Review claims, resolve denials, and address payment issues with carriers.
• Credential and review insurance contracts and appeal low-rate contracts.
