ChristianaCare seeks a Physician Assistant to join the inpatient OB/GYN Physician Assistants Group within OB/GYN Services. The role is full-time, day/evening, with weekend rounding and call responsibilities.

Services are provided at Wilmington Hospital, DE and Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. The PA will admit patients, perform histories and exams, develop treatment plans, and assist in surgeries including robotics and cesarean sections, under supervision.

Qualifikationen

• Delaware licensure eligibility is required or anticipated.
• NCCPA certification is required for the role.

Aufgaben

• Admit patients on behalf of the supervising physician.
• Complete history and physicals.
• Develop treatment plans.
• Conduct rounds as directed by the supervising physician.
• Document progress notes and orders.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic modalities.
• Coordinate referrals to physicians and other professionals.
• Educate patients and families about health status, results, and discharge planning.
• Perform OB/GYN procedures and assist in the operating room as assigned.
