Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Physician Assistant for the inpatient OB/GYN group, serving at Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, DE and Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. This full-time day/evening role includes weekend rounding and call requirements.

Licensure or license eligibility in Delaware, NCCPA certification, and BLS/ACLS/NRP with OBIS training for EFM are required. Salary range shown and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure or license eligibility in Delaware and NCCPA certification.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, OBIS training for EFM are required or strongly preferred.
• Must be able to admit, assess and manage OB/GYN patients in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients on behalf of the supervising physician.
• Complete history and physicals for OB/GYN patients.
• Develop treatment plans and make rounds as directed by the supervising physician.
• Order, assess and interpret diagnostic tests and therapies.
• Instruct, educate, and counsel patients and families about health status and discharge planning.
