Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Hospitalist experience preferred but not required.
• Active Arizona medical license is preferred or in process.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Pediatrix® & Obstetrix is seeking an OB Hospitalist to join our community program in Phoenix at HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea.

The OB hospitalist’s responsibilities include:

• OB coverage only, no GYN duties
• Coverage is 7 24-hour shifts per month
• Level 3 hospital
• 6,000 annual deliveries
• Obstetrics – Evaluation and management of OB patients in robust OB ER; providing care for unassigned obstetrical patients; Assisting in the care of community OB patients and with c‑sections as needed.

Qualifications

• BC Ob/Gyn
• Previous Hospitalist Experience Preferred
• Active AZ license preferred or in-process
