Job summary

University of Maryland St Joseph Medical Center, part of the University of Maryland Medical System, seeks a BE/BC OB/GYN physician for our Towson, MD practice.

You will provide 80% clinical care and 20% administrative duties in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with about 25 office patients daily and collaboration with CNMs.

Qualifications

• 4-year OB/GYN residency (Required)
• Licensed MD in the State of Maryland (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Inpatient & outpatient care with 80% clinical work and 20% administrative duties
• See about 25 patients per day in office
• Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives
• L&D coverage and postpartum/antepartum care
• Position also available in the Pikesville office

Unit Specifics

• 9 LDR's
• 2 OR's
• 5 Triage beds
• 20 beds in Level III NICU
• 30 beds on the floor used for postpartum, antepartum, and GYN patients
• EPIC EMR with Stork

Job Specifics

• Group comprised of 3 OB-GYN Physicians seeking a 4th
• Hospital performs on average 2,200 deliveries per year
• L & D and continuity of care office coverage
• Inpatient & Outpatient settings 80% Clinical & 20% Administrative
• See on average 25 patients per day in office setting
• 5-10 new patients per week
• 2 office days/week Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm, Fridays 8:00am-4:00pm
• Labor & Delivery Schedule1 (12-16) hr. L&D shift a week1 (8) hr. L & D shift a week2 (12) hr. weekend shifts/month
• Work collaboratively with Certified Nurse Midwives
• Position also available in Pikesville office
