University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, part of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an opening for a full-time OB/GYN physician. The generalist role combines obstetrics and gynecology with access to 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist support and a high-delivery-volume setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with license to practice in Maryland.

• Participate in 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist coverage support.
• Support work-life balance with limited call as offered.

Job Specifics:

Employed group comprised of two OB/GYN physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers. Seeking a third physician to meet growing volumes.Generalist scope of practice includes mix of obstetrics and gynecologyService supported by 24/7 in house OB hospitalist coverage Hospital performs 1400 deliveries per year on average; unit includes 14 labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum roomsLevel II nursery covered by 24/7 pediatric hospitalistsWork/life balance supported by very limited call arrangement of your choiceExcellent hospital administration support as well as in office support staffPosition eligible for sign-on bonus and relocation support
