Job summary

UTHealth Houston is seeking a Front Desk Medical Assistant to support clinical teams at the Women’s Center OB/GYN – Memorial City in Houston, TX. You will coordinate front-office workflows, verify eligibility, ensure medical necessity, and post payments, delivering a positive patient experience.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and MA training, with at least 6 months of related experience. BLS is required, and the role is on-site with a comprehensive rewards package including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Six months experience or completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Promote quality patient care and customer service/satisfaction.
• Prepare for patient visits and ensure schedules, test results, and clinic requirements are available.
• Room patients and document chief complaint, vitals, medications, allergies, and history.
