Job summary

Axia Women’s Health’s Contemporary Women's Care Center in Kearny, NJ is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant. Core hours are 7:30–5:00, Monday–Friday with occasional early mornings and one late close.

The MA will support patient care, document vital signs, and manage records in the EMR, collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality women’s health services. The role requires CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification, CPR, and at least 1 year of MA experience (OB/GYN preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current national CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with teams across the business.
• Minimum 1 year recent medical facility experience as MA; OB/GYN preferred.
• Greenway experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and record vital signs and medical history.
• Record patient information and scan lab or imaging reports into the EMR.
• Assist with procedures and screenings as needed.
• Relate instructions and information to patients clearly.
• Ensure accurate forms for billing and claims submission.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
