Job summary

Axia Women's Health in Kearny, NJ, is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our Contemporary Women's Care Center. The role requires CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCMA certification and CPR, with a minimum of 1 year of medical office experience, OB/GYN preferred.

Greenway experience is a plus, and full-time benefits apply. Average pay ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, with eligibility for medical plans, a 401(k), PTO, life and disability coverage, counseling, and additional insurance options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year recent medical office experience; OB/GYN setting preferred.
• Experience with Greenway is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, maintain sterility, and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Assist patients and accompany to exam rooms; help with transfers as needed.
• Record patient history, vital signs, meds, and lab results in EMR.
• Assist providers during procedures and screenings.
• Ensure accurate documentation for billing and record-keeping.
