Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• NP - Current Ohio Registered Nursing License.
• Master’s degree in nursing and successful completion of an NP education program, or Physician Assistant Program.
• Certification to include Prescriptive Authority.
• Knowledge of triage procedures with clinic/urgent care experience.
• Ability to maintain safety, infection control, and quality standards.
• Knowledge of medication administration and patient care aids.
• Ability to educate and communicate with patients and families.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional diplomacy.
• Analytical thinking to interpret data and improve care.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations on new and returning patients and orders appropriate tests.
• Collaborates with physicians to formulate treatment plans and follow-up.
• Conducts comprehensive health assessments and develops patient care plans.
• Reviews and assesses patient medications and treatment outcomes.
• Triages clinic patient calls and notifies physicians as needed.
