Job summary

Ohio State University Physicians is seeking an NP or PA to join our outpatient clinic team in Ohio. Under physician supervision, you will perform comprehensive assessments, deliver care across acute and chronic illnesses, educate patients, and coordinate referrals to community resources.

Responsibilities include triaging calls, developing care plans, reviewing medications, and collaborating with physicians on treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license for NP.
• Master’s degree in nursing and completion of an NP education program.
• Certification to include Prescriptive Authority.
• Experience with triage procedures in clinic/urgent care.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to coordinate care and collaborate with physicians.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations for new and returning patients.
• Collaborates with physicians to formulate treatment plans.
• Develops patient care plans and reviews medications.
• Triages clinic patient calls and coordinates follow-up with patients.
• Evaluates outcomes and adjusts nursing approach as needed.
