Job summary

Ohio State University Physicians is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient clinic team in Columbus, OH. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, educate patients, and coordinate care with physicians and specialists.

The role requires NP/PA credentials, an Ohio RN license, and prescriptive authority. You will work under a physician or lead physician and engage in ongoing education and professional growth within our collaborative

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• NP – Current Ohio RN license
• Master’s degree in nursing or PA program
• Prescriptive Authority certification
• Triage procedures knowledge, clinic/urgent care experience
• Strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations on new and return patients; orders labs and testing.
• Collaborates with physician to formulate treatment plans and follow-up.
• Develops patient care plans within clinical nursing practice and medical care protocols.
• Reviews and assesses patient medications and evaluates outcomes.
• Triages clinic patient calls and notifies physician as needed.
