Job summary

Ohio State University Physicians (OSUP) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for outpatient clinic care. You will collaborate with physicians to evaluate patients, create care plans, order tests, and manage care across acute and chronic conditions.

A strong emphasis on patient education, triage, and coordinating with care teams is required. You will work in a dynamic, compassionate environment with a focus on excellent patient care, safety and continuous professional growth.

Qualifications

• Triage procedures knowledge and clinic/urgent care experience.
• Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and families about disease and care.
• Understanding of infection control standards and patient safety.
• Analytical ability and critical thinking to interpret data and improve care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations; orders labs and tests.
• Collaborates with physicians to formulate treatment plans.
• Develops patient care plans within nursing/medical protocols and reviews medications.
• Evaluates outcomes and adjusts nursing approaches as needed.
• Triages clinic calls and coordinates with physicians and patients.
