Responsibilities

• Coordinates the activities of the nursing unit effectively and efficiently.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers and changes within the unit using the EMR and tracking system.
• Performs clerical and related duties supporting the unit.
• Manages intake and outbound documents; handles communications.
• Facilitates and directs communication among visitors, staff, and physicians.
• Maintains unit records and reports; supports budget considerations and reporting.
• Complies with policies and maintains patient confidentiality.
