Job summary

VS Tech Solutions is seeking a passionate Director of OB to lead our Labor and Delivery team at a North Carolina facility. You will organize, direct, and supervise the OB unit, ensuring safe staffing, policy adherence, and strong patient throughput.

With a collaborative leadership style, you will manage the department budget, drive ongoing quality improvement, and mentor staff toward annual competencies, reporting to the CNO and administrative leadership.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in NC or compact state.
• At least 2 years as charge nurse or OB supervisor.
• Experience in an acute care setting.
• AA in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and supervise OB unit operations.
• Ensure safe staffing, supplies, and equipment at adequate levels.
• Develop and manage the department budget and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Communicate with CNO and administrative team as needed.
