Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide comprehensive anesthesia services. You will perform pre-anesthesia assessments, administer anesthesia, monitor patients during and after procedures, and participate in post-anesthesia care.

The role includes narcotics accounting, emergency response, and collaboration with the surgical team. Wisconsin license and CRNA certification are required, with 24/7 call and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
• Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license.
• DEA registration.
• Certifications in PALS, ACLS, and NRP within 6 months as required.

Responsibilities

• Administers general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Performs pre-anesthesia assessments and ensures tests are completed.
• Monitors vital signs and patient response during and after anesthesia.
• Maintains narcotics accounting and submits postoperative reports.
• Responds to life-threatening emergencies and supports resuscitation efforts.
• Collaborates with surgeons, nurses, and other clinicians.
