Job summary

Perham Health is seeking a Part-time Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to primarily support the OB Department in Perham, MN. The CNA will assist with labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care, with additional Med-Surg support as census allows.

The role emphasizes collaboration, patient safety, and timely communication with the care team. The ideal candidate holds Minnesota CNA certification and is comfortable with day and evening shifts in a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be a Minnesota CNA.
• Experience in OB/ Labor & Delivery and postpartum care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with labor and deliveries, postpartum and newborn care.
• Support Med-Surg patients with ADLs, hygiene, and comfort.
• Observe and report patient status including vital signs and basic changes to licensed staff.
• Maintain safe, clean patient environment and stock supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
