Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join the Methodist Hospital team in San Antonio. You will prep the surgical suite, assist during obstetric procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the care process.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED is required.
• CST or TS-C certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Work with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
