Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech OB to join our obstetric surgical team. You will prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, and help deliver newborn care with the highest standards. Training, mentorship, and on-call support accompany a clear growth path in obstetric surgery.

Your duties include assisting with patient positioning, maintaining sterility, and ensuring a seamless surgical experience for families.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
