Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an OB Anesthesiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health‑care campus featuring the new 11‑floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital and the Health & Wellness Institute, which offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults. Opportunity Details

• Practice an expanded Anesthesia Care model, taking a leadership role in navigating the perioperative process, in close friendly collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff.
• Our Department is equipped with all required modern equipment for the safest practice of anesthesia, including video‑laryngoscopy, 2 SonoSite ultrasound machines for vascular cannulation and regional anesthesia, 2 Ambu FOB systems with disposal scopes used in thoracic anesthesia and difficult airway management, FloTrack system for intraoperative hemodynamic management, AccuView vein‑finding system, etc.
• Provide OB anesthesia to under‑served patient populations.
• Participate in ongoing continuing education programs to maintain and upgrade skills.
• Flexible schedule available within evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for a NYS license
• Board certification in anesthesiology
• Must complete an OB fellowship or hold 2 years of OB anesthesia experience
• Experience working with an under‑served patient population preferred

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary:$421,000* (board eligible);$431,000* (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per‑diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated between $601,000** (board eligible) and $611,000** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, fringe benefits, sessional/per‑diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per‑diem hours worked per week is $104,000***
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required
