Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Anesthesiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11‑floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state‑of‑the‑art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services ranging from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults.

Opportunity Details

• You will join a united, well organized and friendly Department of Anesthesiology with strong leadership and high morale.
• Practice an expanded Anesthesia Care model, taking a leadership role in navigating perioperative processes in close collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff.
• Our Department is equipped with modern anesthesia tools: Video‑Laryngoscopy, two SonoSite Ultrasound Machines for vascular cannulation and regional anesthesia, two Ambu FOB Systems with disposable scopes for thoracic anesthesia and difficult airway management, FloTrack System for intraoperative hemodynamic management, AccuView vein‑finding system, and more.
• Skill in Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia is a plus.
• Recent graduates covering obstetric anesthesia are welcome; mandatory board certification required within five years.
• Flexible schedule available within evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Wages and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $421,000* (board eligible); $431,000* (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation is available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The estimated annual total value of the compensation package is $601,000** (board eligible) to $611,000** (board certified), including base salary, fringe benefits, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets
• 401(k) Company Contribution: immediately vested 3%, additional 7% after one year; no employee match required
