General Function

The Sales Associate plays a critical role in ensuring customers have a rewarding experience that enhances their sport performance. Responsibilities include demonstrating excellent customer service, meeting sales and service goals, providing product knowledge, and working collaboratively to meet store objectives.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Consistently achieve sales targets and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Provide an exceptional and memorable customer experience through personal connection, attention to detail, and offering suitable solutions.
3. Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, opticians, and support staff.
4. Maintain the store's appearance by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized. Secure company assets at all times.
5. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic math skills
4. Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
5. Strong sales skills and accountability for results, with a desire to meet goals
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills
7. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-paced environment
