Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Location Manager to lead transportation operations in Oakland, CA.

The role covers the full lifecycle from startup to daily management, building high-performing teams, managing P&L, and delivering best-in-class transportation services for schools and districts. You will drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence while developing relationships with school partners and internal teams to ensure service quality and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing day-to-day operations in complex environments such as transportation or logistics.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver customer service.
• Track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute site start-ups for new contracts, hire teams, set up facilities and IT.
• Develop training and hiring programs compliant with guidelines.
• Maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to exceed expectations.
• Manage contract operations with consistency and excellence.
• Oversee safety, P&L, and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Coordinate daily operations including scheduling, field trips, and payroll processes.
