Job summary

Hawaiian Building Maintenance in Honolulu is seeking a Custodial - Housekeeping professional to join our team. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.

Training will be provided for candidates with prior janitorial experience or related roles. We offer competitive wages and benefits, with a schedule from 3:30PM to 12:00PM and a full-time position based in Oahu.

Qualifications

• Good communication and customer service skills are required.
• Prior janitorial/custodian experience is preferred but training will be provided.
• Must pass HBM prescreen check.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must have good public relations skills and communication.
• Able to lift 40 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs, with stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and facilities.
• Clean restrooms and restock supplies.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor.
