Job summary

Hipcamp is seeking a relationship-driven Local Host Advocate to build a new field sales channel in Oahu, Hawaii. You’ll connect Hipcamp with farmers, ranchers, landowners, and other property owners seeking new income from their land.

You’ll spend time meeting landowners in person, generating leads, visiting properties, and representing Hipcamp at local agricultural events. Compensation is hourly with bonus eligibility for each new host you bring live.

Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with Oahu agriculture/farm community is essential.
• 1+ year of sales, business development, or relationship-building experience.
• Strong communication and networking skills; comfortable working independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Leverage existing agricultural and local community network to generate new host opportunities.
• Build relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, and outdoor businesses.
• Conduct in-person prospecting, property visits, and sales meetings.
• Generate opportunities not captured by Hipcamp’s digital funnel.
• Attend farmers markets, agricultural events, fairs, and community gatherings.
• Maintain pipeline in CRM and collaborate with the sales team.
• Share local market insights to help Hipcamp grow.
