Hawai‘i State Judiciary is seeking a Deputy Chief Court Administrator I for the First Circuit in Honolulu, Oahu. The role reports to the Chief Court Administrator and oversees fiscal, project, and facilities management across three divisions, including building and security responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; experience substitutions allowed for higher-level education and relevant experience.
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive reports; read and interpret complex material; and solve problems logically and systematically.

Responsibilities

• Serve as deputy to the Chief Court Administrator and assist in planning, directing, and coordinating operations and support services for the First Circuit Court on Oahu.
• Oversee three divisions: Fiscal Management, Project Management, and Facilities Management; act as building and emergency/security manager for the First Circuit.
• Coordinate and manage fiscal, maintenance, and construction projects; may assume Chief Court Administrator duties in their absence.
