Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Denison, IA is seeking an Admissions & Career Transition Services Manager to lead the OA/CTS programs, directing activities, scheduling, and ensuring effective implementation of all program activities.

Candidates typically hold a Bachelor's or Associate degree with supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and must pass a drug screen; successful completion of a nationwide background check is also required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises OA and Career Transition Services Programs activities, including planning, scheduling, and implementation
• Prepares and submits reports; maintains student progress records
• Ensures case notes and PCDPs are up to date per PRH
• Manages enrollment and career transition services across Health Care and Construction clusters
• Assesses promotions, transfers, and performs performance appraisals

Salary Rate: $50,000 - $55,000

Duties and Responsibilities

• The OA/CTS Manager plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the OA and Career Transition Services Programs, including ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and effective implementation of all activities in program areas.
• Prepares and submits reports as required. Ensures proper records on student progress are maintained by the OA/ Career Transition Department.
• The OA/CTS Manager ensures that case notes and PCDPs are up to date per PRH.
• Adheres to cohort enrollment, case management efforts, and career transition services of two (2) industry clusters (Health Care and Construction).
• Assesses personnel promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department. Conducts and prepares performance appraisals.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and two years related supervisory experience OR;
  • Associates degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and four years related supervisory experience
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
