This position supports facilities and engineering teams in plant engineering, project engineering, or crane engineering. A Professional Engineer’s license is desirable. Responsibilities include analyzing, researching, and developing structural engineering specifications involving metals, composites, and other materials. You will analyze damage tolerance, durability, and structural modeling, with specialties in dynamics, loads, stability, stress fatigue, and thermal analysis. Tools include CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer, and other software. Work is performed independently, with work reviewed from a long-term perspective. Candidates should solve problems systematically, communicate clearly, and have basic MS Office and AutoCAD skills, along with understanding electrical and mechanical drawings, project scheduling, and legal/sourcing requirements.
