Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks an O&M Technician for the Orange Grove Energy Facility in Pala, CA. The role focuses on safe, reliable plant operations, monitoring equipment, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance while maintaining accurate records in the CMMS.

You will coordinate with vendors and contractors, support procurement and inventory, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. A rotating 12‑hour shift is included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• Experience operating and maintaining power generation equipment or similar industrial systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to monitor parameters, read meters and gauges, and document data.
• Experience using CMMS for work orders and maintenance history.
• Procurement and inventory experience; coordination with vendors/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable operation and supervision of plant equipment on shift.
• Monitor meters, gauges, and data; analyze trends to verify conditions.
• Operate equipment per procedures; start/stop/adjust as needed.
• Inspect equipment and perform preventive/corrective maintenance; initiate work orders.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors; ensure parts, tooling, and services are available.
• Maintain CMMS records and organize inventory; uphold safety and regulatory procedures.
• Support environmental permit compliance and safety programs.
