Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an O&M Tech I to operate and maintain water treatment and related equipment, ensuring customer specifications are met. The role requires the ability to learn and operate pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves, and other process machinery, with a willingness to work outdoors and on a 24-hour on-call schedule if required by site.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, basic math and computer literacy, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Must read, write and comprehend English (operational, process, safety, and quality instructions).
Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and assume additional or new responsibilities.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain equipment, de-watering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment.
Be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
Support team with new or additional responsibilities as needed.
Learn and independently operate pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves and related equipment.
