Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking an O&M Specialist to join our team in Churubusco, NY. This on-site supervisory role involves managing technicians and handling on-site administrative duties, parts warehousing, and budget oversight.

You will coordinate with site leadership, ensure safety and environmental standards, and assist with IT and community liaison tasks while promoting AES values and policies.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
• Excellent customer service and interaction with diverse groups.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–15% in the first year.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise technicians and manage administrative duties on site.
• Track and ensure training and procedures are up to date.
• Manage parts warehouse and maintenance consumables.
• Assist with personnel issues per company policy and coordinate with other sites.
• Support with IT challenges and onsite meetings with community leaders.
• Monitor budget and forecast monthly variances; ensure timely invoices.
• Contribute to safety, integrity and ownership initiatives.
