Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks a Maintenance/Operations Supervisor to coordinate maintenance and operations on small to medium contracts. You will supervise craft workers, develop preventive maintenance calendars, coordinate PM windows, track compliance, and manage parts inventory and third‑party providers to meet safety and quality standards.

You will conduct root‑cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and generate management reports while aligning with project procedures and budget controls.

Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work‑related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non‑degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time‑conscious and time‑effective manner

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and operations support activities for small to medium contracts
• Supervise maintenance entry‑level personnel and/or maintenance supervisors
• Develop annual preventive maintenance (PM) calendar based on OEM recommendations and data
• Coordinate PM windows with operations schedules
• Track PM compliance and reschedule missed activities
• Prioritize work orders based on production impact
• Conduct root cause analysis for repeat failures
• Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Maintain critical spare parts inventory
• Forecast parts needs based on PM schedules and failure trends
• Manage min/max inventory levels to balance availability and cost
• Select and manage third‑party providers
• Oversee specialized repairs and ensure contractor work meets safety standards
• Maintain equipment records and work history
• Document repairs, parts used, and labor hours
• Track equipment performance trends
• Generate reports for management review
• Maintain staff by supervising and motivating craft workers skilled in installation, repair, preventive and predictive maintenance
• Other duties as assigned
