Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks a maintenance operations professional to coordinate maintenance and operations support for small to medium contracts and projects within the Operations & Maintenance Function. You will supervise entry level personnel or supervisors, maintain client relations, monitor risk, and ensure adherence to contract and OSIP requirements.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, budgeting oversight, bid support, and team development, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors and visitors.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work practices.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership abilities.
• Experience delegating tasks and managing a team of maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining client relationships through regular communication about project operations and improvements.
• Monitor risk and identify significant business risks for Fluor.
• Serve as first-line contact to the Client Plant Manager with quarterly interviews.
• Identify future client requirements and propose on-site improvement plans.
• Apply analytical tools to assess client organizations and improve profitability.
• Ensure contract and OSRP/OSIP requirements are defined, documented, and followed.
• Support Site Business Plan by monitoring budgets, performance, and reporting.
• Assist sales efforts with presentations, estimates, and proposals including negotiating terms.
• Participate in hiring, performance appraisals, and coaching to develop staff.
• Promote training to maintain adherence to specifications and high-quality work.
• Plan and organize own work and coordinate with management; meet deadlines.
