Job Description:

Raytheon seeks a Senior Field Engineer to support installation, modification, operation, and maintenance of Large Earth Terminal systems, which are electronic, mechanical, electrical, and RF based.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor system operation
2. Correct system malfunctions and maintain health
3. Collaborate with customers and peers in an open environment
4. Work 12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation supporting 24/7 coverage, including weekends and holidays
5. Distinguish colors on monitors (red, blue, white, green)
6. Use graphical and textual color displays to evaluate mission needs
7. Work in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
8. Maintain TS/SCI clearance prior to start

Qualifications:

• Degree in STEM and at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with electrical/mechanical system maintenance and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of technical theories, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, troubleshooting
• Multiple LET certifications and ability to obtain/maintain ground terminal certifications
• Up to 12 years’ experience in electronic, electro-mechanical, RF, software, or data systems
• Experience with Raytheon engineering in customer environments
• Strong technical writing, presentation, troubleshooting, and rapid response skills
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask under pressure
