Job summary

Sungrow Deutschland GmbH is seeking an O&M Project Manager to connect customers, local O&M teams and the European O&M organisation, ensuring energy storage assets deliver on commitments.

You will act as the daily contact for asset performance, manage LTSA/SLA KPIs, support European O&M process development, and lead country-by-country rollouts with training and corrective actions across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, business or related technical discipline.
• Experience in O&M asset management, process implementation or project delivery in energy/renewables.
• Strong understanding of ESS/BESS technologies (batteries, PCS/inverters, EMS, grid connection).
• Knowledge of contracts, warranties, SLAs and risk allocation; ability to analyze root causes and SCADA data.
• English at C1; willingness to travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance planning, spare parts, service partners and cross-country initiatives, escalating blockers when needed.
• Prepare reliable performance reporting and dashboards, turning operational data, customer feedback and lessons learned into improvement projects.

Your profile

• You hold a degree in engineering, business or a related technical discipline; a project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile is a plus.
• You bring experience in O&M asset management, process implementation or project delivery within energy, renewables or a comparable technical environment.
• You have a solid understanding of ESS/BESS technologies, including batteries, PCS/inverters, EMS and grid connection.
• You understand commercial contracts, warranties, SLAs, penalties and risk allocation, and can confidently assess root cause analyses and SCADA data.
• You are analytical, structured and commercially minded, with strong planning, reporting and stakeholder-management skills.
• You communicate confidently in English at C1 level; additional European languages are a plus, and you are willing to travel regularly across Europe.
