Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking an Operation & Maintenance Engineer to manage a portfolio of capital and major maintenance projects across 34 LM6000 units. You will develop long-term plans, lead project execution, and coordinate with field services ensuring safety and efficiency.

Strong finance, analytical, and communication skills are required. The role involves collaborating with PROENERGY Engineering, Plant Operations, and external contractors to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Five years of power generation experience.
• LM6000 technology experience preferred.
• Quantitative thinker with a technical background in plant equipment operations and maintenance.
• Strong background in project finance analysis.
• Demonstrated track record in delivering internal improvement projects in a growing organization.
• Technical acumen and ability to coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish ownership of the capital and major maintenance project portfolio and develop a five-year project plan.
• Lead critical projects and manage third-party contractors and PROENERGY engineers.
• Perform ROI calculations and support budget inclusion.
• Provide analysis tying lost margin drivers to projects in the portfolio.
• Develop proactive risk identification and mitigation across assets.
