Job summary

NRG Energy in Springdale, PA is hiring an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Coordinator with Control Room Operations experience for our Springdale facility. This exempt salary role supports planning, procurement, CMMS, and outage coordination.

The position offers growth toward management in operations or maintenance, with responsibilities spanning maintenance planning, budgeting, and collaboration with Plant Operations teams to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5 years in maintenance/operations roles, preferably in power generation.
• Bachelor’s or two-year technical degree in engineering or physical sciences preferred.
• Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel, Project; Maximo experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and contract maintenance activities.
• Support CMMS, maintain equipment history and PM tasks.
• Coordinate outages, schedules, and budgets with Maintenance/Operations.
• Lead and communicate with managers and teams to ensure safety and reliability.
• Develop long-range maintenance plans and 5–10 year site plans.
