Job summary

NRG Energy invites applications for an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Coordinator with Control Room Operations experience for our Springdale, PA facility. This is a management‑level exempt salary position, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

The role focuses on coordinating maintenance and operations planning, CMMS data integrity, and supporting outage planning to ensure safe and reliable plant performance. Growth into a management role is anticipated.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in control room operations or similar role.
• 2–5 years in maintenance/operations in power generation.
• Supervisory experience desirable.
• Proficiency with CMMS and basic PC tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and operations plans with plant teams.
• Publish and prioritize work orders based on safety and operational impact.
• Support outage planning and scheduling activities.
• Maintain CMMS data accuracy and documentation.
• Provide training and guidance on CMMS usage.
