Flik Hospitality Group in New York City seeks a Sous Chef for the Ace Team to support accounts in the NYC metro region. You will assist with the overall success of the food program and oversee culinary functions, planning, ordering, inventory and prep, aligning with client culture, Health Department regs, and company standards.

Based in NYC, you will primarily support Tri-State units, may travel up to 25% to non-local Flik locations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related culinary experience including 1 year at the management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Knowledge of food and industry trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Ability to travel within the region to assigned accounts.
• Supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills.
• ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office including Excel.
• Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and participate in the preparation and cooking of various food items.
• Plan and create menus.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
• Assist with cost controls and expenditure management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
