Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible architectural experience.
• Experience reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordination of architectural work with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other technical disciplines.
• Knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and construction administration.
• Ability to identify design, constructability, and field issues and propose practical resolutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with architectural/document-management software.
• Willingness to work on-site at client and project locations in New York City.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural and technical support throughout planning, design, procurement, construction, and implementation phases.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents for completeness and coordination.
• Provide recommendations on architectural design, materials, systems, and constructability.
• Coordinate architectural work with engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, planning meetings, and progress meetings.
• Identify risks, conflicts, and impacts to scope, schedule, cost, and facilities.
• Resolve design and field conditions with design and construction teams.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and change-related documentation.
• Monitor progress for conformance with plans and standards.
• Support leadership in evaluating design alternatives and addressing challenges.
• Provide input on facility repairs, renovations, and improvements.
• Assist in planning, milestones, risk escalation, and processes for implementation.
• Contribute to weekly updates, reports, and client deliverables.
• Maintain communications with client and project team.
