Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Project Officer Associate to join our PM/CM group in New York City. The role provides hands-on experience with school construction projects across the city and reports to a Project Officer or Senior Project Officer.

Qualifications

A 4-year degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and comfort with digital documentation and permit systems.

Responsibilities

Review documents submitted for City-required building and other permits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist applicants through the filing process with various City agencies.
Deliver documentation to city agencies for data entry, review, and approval.
Coordinate with Plan Examiners to ensure compliance with City Building Code.
Conduct research on existing building statuses via city records and databases.
Perform related duties as assigned in support of project and department goals.
