Job summary

Space Exploration is seeking an experienced project manager in Brooklyn, NY to oversee multiple design projects from concept through coordination and delivery. The role emphasizes interior design expertise for complex residential and hospitality projects, tight budgeting, and schedule management with client-facing responsibilities.

The successful candidate should have at least four years of design and coordination experience, strong construction administration skills, and familiarity with NYC

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in design and coordination is required.
• Familiarity with NYC AHJs and code compliance is important.
• Licensure is a plus.
• Candidate should live in NYC or within daily commuting range and be onsite regularly.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and oversee design work by intermediate and junior designers.
• Coordinate with consultants and vendors across projects.
• Create and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Track submittals and manage RFIs and submittal logs.
• Report to the principal and supervise design staff.
