Job summary

HeyTutor is hiring Math Tutors for in-person support for middle school students in The Bronx, New York. Applicants must have completed an Associate's degree or higher. The role focuses on delivering middle school math instruction with a structured curriculum in a classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Tutor groups of students without direct teacher supervision.
• Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials.
• Create an engaging, welcoming learning environment.
• Support positive student behavior and participation.
• Track attendance and student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Escort students to and from designated areas on campus.
• Clock in/out daily using Deputy.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

About the Role

HeyTutor has partnered with a school site in The Bronx, New York to provide high-impact, in-person tutoring to middle school students. Applicants must have completed an Associate's degree or higher.

We are hiring Math Tutors to support students in grades 6th-8th. This is a great opportunity for college students, aspiring educators, and education professionals looking for consistent hours, competitive pay, and meaningful work in their community.

Pay & Benefits

• $32-$38 per hour, based on education and experience
