Achieve Beyond in Suffolk, NY is seeking a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) to support children with special needs across home, clinic, and community settings. The role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful impact in a pediatric-focused team.

As an LMSW licensed in New York, you will collaborate with families, document progress, and participate in multidisciplinary care with ABA, Speech, OT, and more, serving the NYC metro area including Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Qualifications

• Must be NY LMSW and licensed to practice.
• 1-2 years of experience working with children birth-5 is preferred but not necessary.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services to children (birth-3) in their most natural environment.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.
