Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is mandatory.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar is required.
• 2–5 years of Labor & Employment experience with wage/hour and discrimination litigation.
• Class action wage-and-hour litigation experience is required.
• Experience advising employers on New York State and New York City employment laws.
• Hospitality industry labor relations experience is a plus; familiarity with NY Hospitality Wage Order preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment counseling on wage/hour compliance, policies, and discipline decisions.
• Manage employment litigation from inception through resolution, lead in wage/hour and discrimination matters.
• Handle class actions related to wage and hour issues with precision and strategy.
• Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop litigation and compliance strategies.
• Stay current on developments in labor and employment law.
