Jobot in New York City seeks a Partner-level attorney to help expand the office within a national platform. You will handle insurance coverage and professional liability matters for top clients, while building and maintaining your own book of business.

This permanent role offers a strong base, a robust bonus structure, and hybrid flexibility (3–4 days in office) to support work-life balance and collaboration with cross-office teams.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 500k in portable business.
• Proven track record as a Partner or ability to transition into a Partner role.
• Significant experience in professional defense, focusing on D&O and E&O insurance services.
• Substantial portable business and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of insurance law and ongoing professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to mentor juniors.
• Leadership and contribution to strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch legal advice on insurance coverage, professional liability, and construction litigation.
• Lead trial preparation and litigation processes, delivering exceptional services.
• Leverage D&O and E&O expertise to support clients.
• Develop and maintain your book of business and drive client development.
• Collaborate with partners and associates to meet firm goals.
• Stay informed on insurance law developments and apply to practice.
