Job summary

Beyer Blinder Belle, an award-winning architecture firm with NYC offices, seeks an Architect to perform Construction Administration for high-rise residential/mixed-use projects in New York City.

The role involves administering contracts, advising on techniques and codes, coordinating with consultants, and mentoring junior staff while collaborating with the Senior Project Manager and Partner in Charge.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in architectural practice and CA of high-rise NYC buildings.
• Professional degree in architecture.
• Experience coordinating with project consultants and clients.
• Strong knowledge of NYC and IBC codes.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and lead teams.
• Good communication with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer complex construction contracts and advise on techniques and codes.
• Interpret CDs, process shop drawings, and collaborate with PM and Partner in Charge.
• Coordinate with CMs daily and manage project documentation.
• Provide design solutions and guidance to the team.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure collaborative, professional project environment.
